Base layer vs tights under motorcycle pants self. So, my new guilty pleasure is wearing Nike running tights under my motorcycle pants. Before, I was just wearing regular running pants underneath, but man, tights are so much more comfortable. They even keep me cool in the degree weather I ride in, and this is in non-perforated leather pants. Fun tip I learned from my grandfather about dealing with really cold winters and snow: use a pair of pantyhose.

As cold weather starts to roll in this season and the last red leaves fall off the trees, it's time to start thinking about what you're going to do with your motorcycle this winter. For some, winter means buying fuel stabilizer, dusting off the trickle charger, and gently snuggling their motorcycle into a warm corner of the garage. For the rest of us, winter means no change to our motorcycle riding habits except the addition of quite a bit of extra clothing! I clearly fall into the "extra clothing" category - I'll ride anything above 20 degrees if I had heated clothing, I'm sure I could go lower. Call me crazy or just "thermally gifted," but riding motorcycles in the winter can be really enjoyable. By the way, I am by no means thermally gifted.
Yes, going out on a date on your motorcycle is really really fun. It's no wonder the public's perception of riding motorcycles is what it is. And why you see so many women wearing nothing while they jump on the back of their friend's bike, or in the front. Recently Vogue Magazine interviewed a few "Biker Babes" who shared their tips for wearing the most fashionable denim, because you know, that's what all bikers wear. I get it.
